(the most important part of any real TESOL/TEFL certificate course). The daily schedule
is divided up into theoretical input classes and workshops in the mornings,
and practical sessions in the afternoons, including lesson planning and
materials production, observation
of experienced teachers / teaching practice, peer observation
and feedback sessions. International Accreditation
The course is
externally validated and moderated by IATQuO. The qualification is internationally accepted and well regarded by the
international TEFL community. IATQuO assessors will evaluate and monitor the
content and quality of our syllabus, teaching methodology and assessment
procedures during regular visits. Students will
receive a numbered certificate on successfully completing the course. TEFL (sometimes
also referred to as TESOL), means Teaching English as a Foreign Language and
a TEFL certificate is the major qualification required to teach English
abroad. There is a huge demand for teachers around the world with opportunities
in almost every country. Job Guidance We offer our
students professional careers guidance both during the course and afterwards.
We prepare you for
your interviews and give you advice on how to present yourself to a French
employer or a French company. All of our
trainees who wanted to get employment in Teaching practice.
All trainees will be asked to do
between 9 hours and 12 hours of teaching practice depending on the size of
the group. Class size varies from single students, (one- to- one classes),
through small groups of three or four, to groups of six to ten learners. Course Assessment All assignments
and observed teaching practice are assessed as well as participation in the
theoretical sessions and workshops, and overall professional development on
the course. The assessment of teaching practice is continuous, meaning that,
above all, the final grade will reflect your progress in teaching. This grade
is also based on your ability to reflect on your own teaching and that of
others. Those having
difficulty with any particular task will be given tutorial help and an
opportunity to resubmit work. Written and oral feedback will be given after
each observed practice lesson. Trainees will be expected to have achieved a
satisfactory standard in all areas, including teaching, by the end of the
course. The TEFL Paris TESOL course is assessed as follows:
Successful trainees receive an official
certificate, numbered and stamped by, showing completion of the course and overall grade. They will also
be issued with a detailed letter from reflecting upon their performance during
the course. TEFL Paris is always prepared to issue a reference and further
information if requested. |
